ClearTech provides specialist structural assessments and is proactive in our development of repair & strengthening solutions for buildings, bridges, towers, wind turbines, etc.

Repair can typically involve the use of jacking & monitoring or carbon fibre solutions. 


Post-tensioned structures exhibit enhanced durability and longevity, reducing the need for frequent repairs and replacements.

    ClearTech has managed the installation and operation of a jacking system in order to transfer the loads via a specialised Jacking system, thus enabling the repair works to be undertaken.


    This service has been provided to Dublin Airport Authority, on a bridge repair works at Garvaghy Road, Northern Ireland, on a project at Belfast University, to assist with the redevelopment of a laboratory at Abbvie in Sligo, amongst others.


    In addition, we have designed and installed 2 permanent Flat Jacks to Structure 13, at the River Fergus Underbridge Ennis Bypass, Co. Clare

    This service has been provided at Bonham Quay in Galway, the old Canada House building - now AerCap House - on St. Stephen's Green in Dublin,  at TU Grangegorman in Dublin and at the Facebook offices in Ballsbridge, Dublin.

    Structural Assessments, Post Tensioned Site Investigation (PTSI) & Structural Repair


    All structures can become damaged by corrosion, accidental impact, brittle wire cracking, or coring and drilling after construction, leading to tendon failure.  In addition, Post-tensioned structures can have issues with corroded tendons due to a lack of grout in the ducts.


    A Post Tensioned Site Investigation (PTSI) is conducted to evaluate the concrete structure and assess the repair required.


    ClearTech can conduct the PTSI, providing a full structural assessment, calculation and consultation in order to determine the most effective, efficient, economical and sustainable repair solution.
